Sad and Angry
What we are not allowed to see come home from Iraq.
Last year I pondered how many more of our men and women we would be memorializing this Memorial day. It appears that it is somewhere over 400 this year. Was anything gained by their deaths? I hope so but I can no longer believe anything this White House has to say. I have been lied to so often that I have to question everything they say. It is sad when a democratic society can no longer trust our elected officials.
My wife asked me why I was so gloomy today, but shouldn't we all be a bit sad today. Anytime I think about soldiers in harms way for corporate profits and oil, it makes me sad and angry. Anytime I think about soldiers dieing for no good reason, it makes me sad and angry.
I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day, but I also hope everyone is a little sad and angry and does something about this disaster in Iraq because of their sadness and anger.

Wow. Let me take a break from the cheese curds and ponder...
Yep, our government sucks. Perhaps an Obama administration will help heal this country's wounds and get our soldiers out of a losing battle.
We can only hope.
Hey, you haven't posted for a while! Are you still alive? *smiles*
its time to do something
